Keep the bottle cool and dry
Store coconut oil away from the stove, direct sun and damp areas. A closed kitchen cabinet is usually better than an open counter beside a window.
Always close the cap firmly after use to reduce exposure to air and kitchen moisture.
Use clean, dry utensils
If you transfer oil to another container or scoop solidified oil, use a completely clean and dry spoon. Water and food particles can shorten freshness.
- Keep the original label and best-before information.
- Avoid repeatedly moving oil between containers.
- Choose a pack size your household can finish comfortably.
Solidification is natural
Coconut oil may turn cloudy or solid in cooler temperatures. This physical change is normal and does not by itself indicate spoilage.
Allow the bottle to return gradually to room temperature. Avoid direct flame or excessive heating.
